Kimberley A. Koester
 Sr. Associate

Kimberley joined Chapman and Associates in 2000 after spending several years handling complex Labor Relation claims. She focuses her practice on the defense of medical malpractice and Civil Rights (42 USC 1982) claims. Kimberley has successfully defended hundreds of claims brought on behalf of inmates within state and county correctional facilities. Over the years Kimberley developed an exceptional understanding of the interplay between Federal Civil Rights law and State tort actions such as medical malpractice. This knowledge enables her to quickly address the deficiencies of claims and promptly respond with the appropriate defense, often ending in immediate dismissal.

Kimberley lives in Livonia and enjoys caring for her parents and three lively American Cocker Spaniels.
